Wow....that was fun!

So the bridal fair has come and gone and it was a lot of fun. I got to talk to a lot of people and give out a lot of cards that I had printed up.

Here is a picture of our booth. After my morning rush of getting everything ready I was really happy with how it all came out. I wish I could claim credit for how nice the booth looked but I had a lot of help from my wife, and she's much better at that sort of thing than I.

Bridal Fair! A fair for brides!

Next weekend from 11-4 at the Alaskaland (oops, I mean Pioneer Park) civic center in Fairbanks, Alaska there will be a bridal fair.

I will be there, and hopefully I'll enough stuff to fill an 8x8 booth space.

Seriously, if you're a bride and are looking for ideas or contacts this is the best place to go. This is my first bridal fair and it sounds like a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to meeting all the people that will be there.

I'll have my new TV set up with a video of all the stuff you find on my website so stop by and you can watch thirty minutes of Endeavor footage. Hopefully I'll see you there.

Wow....HD sure is nice.

So I had this brand new HD camera sitting on my shelf and I really wanted to see what it could do. The problem? Nothing to shoot. A couple of emails, myspace posts and a phone call later I had set up a shoot with a soon to be bride, Rebekah.

She did a fantastic job modeling for me here. I didn't have to do anything but concentrate on the shot. Here are the results. If you want, follow it to the HD version. Bigger is better.

Shooting with HD is very much the same as shooting with a standard camera. The only difference is that it looks beautiful when I pull it into the editing bay. Not that I'm complaining. The extra resolution and aspect ratio of High Definition gives me more detail than I could get with my old camera and even when it's delivered on a standard definition DVD it still looks better.

I'll be shooting all my weddings with these cameras now. The camera may be smaller, but the result is larger than life.

Well here's the first post.

I haven't been much of a blogger even in my personal life. But I hope that I can remedy that here. You see, I want this space to exist for you to see what goes into one of these little wedding videos I do.

This will offer a behind the scenes look at how I work and what I'm working on. So stay tuned, or surfed, or whatever blog viewers do, because there's a lot more to come.
